This very nice little Series I 80-inch Land-Rover is offered only as a restoration project to be completed through British Northwest Land-Rover Company. It is in unusually fine original condition with few exceptions, chiefly that the canvas top is not original or correct. Aside from that, this machine is correct and complete in every respect, right down to the original factory SOLEX carburetor, LUCAS generator and electrical system and all factory instrumentation and controls. Insofar as we have been able to determine the Land-Rover has all original sheet metal, its original and superlative chassis and dash (firewall) with no penetrating rust whatsoever, original seats, doors, factory original road wheels, original steering wheel....everything, in a word.

It is a true "barn find", having been stored inside a dry shop in Port Angeles, Washington, where it was retired approximately 20 years ago. When we received it the cylinder head had been removed and we found that one of the exhaust valves had been burned. This exceptional machine is being offered in a n umber of configurations, which include as a "roadster pickup", or canvas-topped pickup, as a full hard top, with a full-length canvas top, as a hard-top pickup, or in topless form . We intend to rebuild the original engine back to factory specification and to decommission the vehicle to showroom condition. Be advised that this machine is NOT being offered for outright sale.
